ICMR-NIMR inviting applications for the following Research Scientist & Driver posts through Walk-in Interview 2011.

Project-1: Evidence based assessment of biophysical determinants of malaria in the northeastern states of India and development of framework for adaptation measures for malaria control under climate change scenarios.

Research Scientist
 •Vacancies: 1 Post
 •Pay-Scales: Rs.15600 + GP of 5400 + HRA (Consolidated)
 •Qualifications: 1st class M.Sc in life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences. Three years research experience in relevant field/ Ph.D in related field.
 •Age Limit: 35 years

Driver
 •Vacancies: 1 Post
 •Pay-Scales: Rs.10503 (Consolidated)
 •Qualifications: 10th standard pass with LMV/HMV License. Experience of driving in hilly area.
 •Age Limit: 28 years

Project-2: Developing a framework for predicting malaria outbreaks in rural and urban areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan in India.

Research Scientist
 •Vacancies: 1 Post
 •Pay-Scales: Rs.15600 + GP of 5400 + HRA (Consolidated)
 •Qualifications: 1st class M.Sc in life Sciences/ Biostatistics. 3 years research experience in relevant field.
 •Age Limit: 35 years
