Direct Recruitment of Sportspersons against Sports Quota
Food Corporation of India (hereinafter termed Corporation), one of the largest Central Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grain supply chain Management, intends to recruit 12 (Twelve) meritorious sports personnel as Assistant Grade III (General/Depot) in IDA Pay Scale of Rs.9300–22940/-. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the prescribed qualification, experience; age, etc. for the disciplines indicated below:
HOCKEY 05 Male
CRICKET 04 Male
FOOTBALL 05 Male
TABLE TENNIS 02 Female
TOTAL 16
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years as on 05/07/2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from recognized University, and with proficiency in use of Computers.
The Educational qualification can be relaxed in case of exceptionally outstanding sportspersons
Eligibility: In any of the above disciplines, the person should, in the year immediately preceding his application for recruitment in the Corporation have represented
i) A University in the Inter University Tournament conducted by the Inter University Sports Board; and / or
ii) A combined University team in the National and World Universiade International competition; and / or
iii) A State in the National competition ; and / or
iv) The country in any International competition
The envelop shall be super scribed with the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSTT. GRADE III (GENERAL/DEPOT) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”.

The applications should reach at above address by 03/08/2012. For candidates belonging to J&K and NE States, last date for receipt of applications will be 10/08/2012.
